Try updating the firmware it should wipe all passwords if you haven't done so already

Just ignore the advert popups once you click on the download link, also the more I think about it the 8 digit code it's asking for sounds like a birthday date.... 00 00 0000 .

If it's an original amiko (are ther cloneboxs ?) then the link I provided for the firmware's will allow you to update it to the latest firmware, the reason I'm asking if it's an original amiko is that firmware info you provided is not listed on the amiko mini hd firmware page and I think they go back to when the box it was released.
But where it says loader version m3606f 1,1,3 in your info, there is a upgrade tool for that loader (3606) listed on that page in the tools for amiko section. So it could be that yours is an original amiko.

I also have issue with the Amiko mini combo, unable to get past the password.
what firmware do i need as well as the upgrade tool. Also is it a 3.55mm (3 pole)jack needed?
I prefer dreamboxes, this is a favour for a friend.
All help is much appreciated, thank you

Managed to sort it. Got loader from amiko and firmware from amiko website.
then as I didn't have a rs232 to 3.5mm cable, I had to solder the wires direct on to the female jack on the board and it worked.
If anyone has to do same then the wires to solder are: the tip is TX then Ground, RX and then ground.
If anyone needs to make or order a cable then you will need rs232 and a 3.5mm (4 pole) jack.
