GM MDI psg16 EGR

hi all
client ask to disable egr on psg16.

so

do some research on web i figured out that i need GM tech2 card and then extract part of the file, edit it, do cks with win ols import part of the file back on the card and update psg16 ecu with mod file

am i write?

and can i do all this GM MDI ??

what soft to use to locate and export psg16 flash from gmtech card or gm mdi soft?

so is theare any way to mod files before flashing with gm mdi

theoretically yes - extract file from globaltis db > mod it > put back to db > flash ecu

by saying extract you mean just fine part of db file witch will be ECU file or you need some soft to detcryp from db file (like rfile000.000)

i read some forums and find out how to cose egr with hystersis, as i understand you allways use this metod, but how to disable DTC to be able remove plug of egr i need that becose my egr is faulty

ok so theare is my tech2 card loaded with soft i need to edit, how to find wheare it begins and how big it is? something begins from 8e1000????
