I have a customer with a chrysler Le Baron, 1987 model, VIN 1C3BJ55KOJG325788
I need to know what key type, and if a cutting code would be available, as this car has no keys.
Thanks for ANY info at all, as I cant find anything usefull!

should be a single sided y153 key, no direct experience with them, seems to be the normal chrysler key of that year

Door and ignition should be the same key, trunk is different. No key codes on locks, ignition may have it but held in by active retainer. Impression key from door lock, it uses pin tumblers and makes nice fat impression marks.

In addition, door and ignition were the same from the factory. Pin tumbler door lock, 5 spaces, 6 depths, easily impressioned. If ignition is different, if pin tumbler you can impression, if wafer tumbler, it is a side bar lock, and impressioning is not practical. If you have mechanical skills, you can disassemble column to remove lock. OEM locks have codes, or replace lock. Column disassembly is not for the weak or faint of heart- lot of parts to remove and replace.:chuncky:
