BRICO HOW TO REPAIR YOUR FAULTY UPA NEC ADAPTER GREEN BOARD

Hi mates,

I have been trying to read with upa a NEC uPD 780949 mcu from a valeo BSI
After lots of attemps I thought that the adapter could be failing, UPA constantly was giving me baudrate capture error

So, I decided to try to repair following the pictures from the file attached and works!!!

P.S. to read this kind of mcu, connections for 13 and 14 are not the same as described in UPA manual

I?m sorry mates,
I was in hurry that time. I had to read a nec mcu and finally I found a solution for this clone UPA.
I?ll post in a normall message for everyone who need it.
Anyway the best solution is to buy an original UPA, It?s a good low cost tool. I bought clone one because I didn?t know in that time that I would use it a lot.
Next one it will be original.
