2013 w204 c200 no communication

Hi, i have no communication to my 2013 w204.

Story.

installed smok can blocker in ezs at 16,000 km. it now has 24,000km.i was under the impression that the can blocker stops the km being transferred to all the other modules in the car. then one can change the km in the dash to 18,000km remove the can blocker connect it all back up and all modules will have the 18,000km. after reading all threads here.

anyway i tried to change the dash from 24k to 18k with fvdi. i clicked get it read the 24k then tried to change it to 18k but it did not change. after i did this i had no communications with any modules. not even airbag module. reading other posts it looks like it is stuck maybe in programming mode or something.

so i removed cluster and changed it manually. put the dash back in the car it shows up the 18k. connected ezs with blocker removed and yes soldered the black small rectangle thing it asked me to remove to install the blocker.

after put everything back i have no communication to anything except with cgw. read that it says no fault codes.

tried with snap-on fvdi original avdi to just read codes and clear no communication. have star tried that again no communication.

car starts but the thermo fan turns on and sounds like its running 1000 miles and hour. command gets message anti theft protectection is activated. it even starts with the cluster out of the car.

what do i have to do to get modules communicating again ?

you cgw is corrupted or stucked in boot mode.
you can try to do with avdi set mileage without klicking get mileage and see if it will restore it.
otherwise you can try to re-program cgw again or go to dealer.
these are you options. i thought cgw cost about 400 a 600 euro.

where is this cgw located on the car. im pretty sure i read and saved cgw eeprom and flash before i started anything.

Flash is useless when read via obd2. Only eeprom. Remove can blocker from car, put everything back,go to odometer correction and press SET mileage, DO NOT PRESS GET.
Wait until finish, then see if everything is ok.

i tried, it says my version is not possible. i tried both ways with install can blocker to ezs and with out. where is this cgw zgw located on the car. took both seats out after checking underneath steering column and under glove box. some one knows where it is located ?

are you sure? i can get it out a bit not fully, i cant see a cgw in there?

It is not separate unit it is built inside of the fuse box.

how do i get out, my wipers dont work and is in the way, any trick?

ok front sam / cgs is out. which processor is cgw? top one has 3m25j and bottom one is 3m25j.

ok, any tips reading this with new upa? so many options. d flash, p flash, emulated eeprom, local memory map and d flash user partition ........

ok, read all eeprom dflash pflash etc. anyone have flash for this so i can check in case my flash is corrupted.

update, it might help someone else, i programmed eeprom only with upa, put it back, got communication back again. cleared all the fault codes in all menus. now everything seems to work except for wipers. if some one know about wipers ? also $2800 cost for new front sam. if i find second hand one what information i need to program into used unit. eeprom and reading d flash user i see vin. just change vin and reprogram with vin change only. thanks

my opinion is try to reprogram cgw online with star .....just an idea
