Spent 20 minutes decoding an 2009 Avensis smart key with Miraclone only for it to tell me not possible. Then on 2nd read gave me some other ID and gave up ???

I'am I right in saying there's other kit to help cloning these?

It must be 80 bit 'G' chip and it's impossible to clone.

Smartkey on avensis is always 80bit.

Customer even joked that a failed message would appear after 20 minute countdown
...and it did lol

Regarding original fobs -
Its piss-poor guys these UK Toyota smart keys aren't easy to source???

get original key (new or used), add via obd using techstream or x100 etc

...and alot "waiting for stock" - which never comes.
ebay sellers want upto ?70 for a second hand key. Silly.

Which leaves just lost key jobs with a transponder from dump really

With 10% discount genuine key uk Dealers asking for ?150 new key not bad..
