where is isn stored in BMW edc16cp35 , ecu is with external eeprom 95640 .... is in flash or in eeprom ? Thanx

....but is not enough to change eeprom dump to a used ecu to start the car .... is no vin in eeprom

vin is not necessary to start the car.

yes only eeprom is necessary to clone ecu ... Tested

to get this to work you need

A: orginal ecu ISN
or
B: working key (read with key tool)from car to get CAS file decrypted

if you have non above you have a problem

Nope but he need also reset keys then... relearn em, code all the stuff later.
So nonsens without proper tools.
