View Full Version : Audi A3 2005 cluster swap. Fujitsu to Fujitsu

Hello Everybody!

I have audi a3 2005 1.9TDI. Old cluster without FIS (8P0 920 900 L), want to swap new (used) cluster with FIS (8P0 920 930 K). I have both clusters pin's. Inside both clusters have eeprom 93c86 and fujitsu MCU (cluster without FIS have one mcu and cluster with FIS have two MCU).

When install new cluster in the trip field written: SAFE.
Tried swap using Ross Tech website but chanel 50 not active...
Tried read with commander immo data but no success (after read, no VIN in the field).
Tried learn key with commander but no success...

Most information in DK with micronas mcu.

So a lit bit help need out here :)

With tools you have , no way you can do this.
You need AVDI or SMOK X-Dash .

Today I have read flash from fujitcu mcu, if I exchange flash? how about that?

with K+CAN VAG COMMANDER 1.4.

cluster without FIS (file AudiA32DFLASH.bin) flash is not ok I think?

Swap flash from Fujitsu and eeprom 93c86.

It should be Fujitsu MB91F366.

Car will start.

Look at first post,It is not same cluster, one is with 2 MCU and other with one MCU, No MFA and MFA cluster.
I doubt this can be done with out OBD tool.

Since this Fujitsu has LCD driver built in it,the other merely serves as a controller for the display.

Today I noticed that commander can only read flash not to write...so I need to find solution how write dump to fujitsu...any suggestion?

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if VVDI can handle swap of two fujitsu clusters (without fis-with fis)?

I have also VAG dash CAN..

You must change security block from old to new cluster. You don't have nobody with smok equipment?
