Is this 2011 GMC Terrain's km store in the BCU?
The dash with 24c16 & I can't see any KM.

The km look to be in there, also a heck of a lot of modes and hours,

Let me guess, total engine hours is 1669?

Any chance you could read out all the mode km and hours values displayed with both plugged in, just to work out what i will not need to fix...

At a guess it starts at 0x250 and does something else at 0x300-0x330,

The Km was right in the 1st place that I suspected.
Just don't understand why i got distracted away from it.

It's not on line 0x250 nor 0x300-0x33f

On Tahosoft :
Car type: GMC Terrain - 24c16
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
0020: xx xx xx xx xx xx 00 61 A8 00 xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
00 61 A8 00 - is a mileage

Car type: GMC Terrain (BCM) - 24c16
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
00F0: xx xx xx xx xx xx xx 00 61 A8 00 xx xx xx xx xx
0160: xx xx xx xx xx xx 00 61 A8 00 xx xx xx xx xx xx
01C0: xx xx xx xx 00 61 A8 00 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
where the next bytes:
00 61 A8 00 - is a mileage

in BCU the km bytes are in reverse.
not sure putting '0000 0000' in the bcu
& just change the dash are ok?
one thing for sure is changing dash without the bcu
will make the original km back.
I do not have the newerr Tachosoft.
it was nice if I have the info. sooner but I already
done it in the hard way.
Thanks anyway.

Rerouter pointed out that he saw the miles and also other added bits that you would need to make your task complete , after you say i found it and not offer your findings to the forum . Is that the forum is only to ask and tell?
Why do we Dk if members dont share ? Excuse me all if a little harsh too many hospital trips this week .
you might need Rerouter again

i second that xmoDDer. lots of people asking here for help and when they get it they don't give feed back.
it's all open for asking help but for the answer (solution) is all secret!!!
