Today customer has called me to tell that his car has stopped to cranck and get a classical crossed steering wheel lock icone on the dash.
I asked him to tow the car to my shop and then started my job, i ve belivied the elv was the problem so i ve used a well known elv emulator, so the car has crancked straight away, buuuut, the engine didnt run.
I noticed the vin number wasnt corret and asked the customer to come and tell me the real.
He so told me the car came from the action and on transport someone has stolen the DME, so he bought another set (DME + CAS2 + Key); and swapped then, the car started and he drove it for a week with no problems.
I ve tried to sych it using many tools and none of then got it donne.
Anyone has a clue what to do?
I ve got the original key and cas2 but not the dme;
Is possible to adapt the new DME to original CAS2?
Or do i have to change vin and mileage of new set???
