THIS IS ONLY A THOUGHT AND ONLY A THOUGHT - M-H-M DO NOT HAVE ONE OF THESE

Just a though:-

French cars made by different makers seems to be simular in design
same with German cars and American.

Looking at the MaxiDiag threads and software after having to 'fix' sbb key programer. Thought of this.

On SBB all i did was edited the hex in the 24C16 next to the card reader, using somebody elses file.

updated the software ( i changed the serial number for a laugh)
so machine locked out.

Now it is needing no tokens - we know the Technotest can be obtained by a 'no token' version.

Perhaps members could have a look inside their Technotest to see if there is a 24Cxx or 93Cxx EEPROM next to the card read, take a dump and smear it on here.

*IF* anybody does bother to do this, could you say how long left on the updates?

Just woundering if it is possable to update software by serial number then edit EEPROM with another members 'run free' dump?

Meaty.

Any update on these tools yet, i have a reflex 4130 and its just bombed out, decided this year im not going to renew the subs,so its either find a way to unlock it or its going on ebay, last year i unlocked it by inserting a smart card, but the year before tecnotest gave me an activation code over the phone, that you type in.is there any type of key generator out there /

Hi due to the increasing amount of member who have a
TIMED OUT machine, we at M-H-M recently brought one - we felt left out
Paid 300 pounds for it - as it has timed out.

Shame it's gone now, would have been worth trying to wind back the RTC.

Sorry, no understand your location.

Assuming your Scotland way on, looking at google?

Perhaps you could contact member Racingsnake - and *HOPE* he can take a dump before and after update on any eeproms - inside?

Thanks Meat.

used to work for a tecnotest dealer.
We used to have sim cards for the token and update activation.
On occasion they can give the activation code for the yearly subscription from the phone. They needed the machine serial number and a code from the softare which propably told them how many days it has left (really).

Some russians had cracked the older version so maybe we can find something on the web.
