Benz NEC Programmer API Hook error

Hello guys,

Just received my NEC Benz programmer today.
Whatever I do,I always get API Hook error.
Tested on 2 laptops,done a clean install,no matter what always API Hook error.

Any suggestions what should I try?

Just tried on Virtual Machine,same error.
Always API Hook,then crash.
I installed NET 4.0 and Java.

I think I will return this device.
Very bad solution.

I had similar problem. I think I downloaded software from web and it worked.

I have in my garage 3 desktop and 5 laptop this software work only with one laptop (IBM) with xp sp2 . i dont know what i can do when i need to format this pc .
But this device work very good. Work on it every day

XP SP2 is the way to go.
Installed SP2 on Virtual Machine and all is OK,worked straight away.

Can this device work with ESM or keys only?
