Honda Civic Renesas Dump

Hello,

I have a module to reset on a Honda Civic 2012 and all i have is the CG100 programmer which only writes, so i can not read the dump. So i need a clear dump for a 77960_TR0_W0110_M2 please.

Check twice... Newest Civic has 95320 TSSOP eeprom on borad...

Exactly it has renesas processor that uses external eeprom so you can just read the on board TSSOP, civic never had any renesas with internal eeprom

Hello Guys,

Yes the latest ones have an external eeprom but this is a 2012 civic, i did reprogram the mcu and it removed the crash data but it wont recognize the passenger seat sensor coz i have the wrong data.
Attached some photos so you see there is no external eeprom and if you look at the back of it this is one of the typical renesas version. Unfortunately this is the japanese made civic, the clever guys of europe don't see these much coz they have to deal with the ones made in Swindon.

Yes Pcb looking same as my 2013 Honda Civic 77960-TRO S011-M2

Carprotool H8SX K-line tool does recgonise it but does not clear crash data ..

Unfortunately they on leave now till the 2nd February .

As luck would have it i have got now two off these units by me ...

As always client needs to get it done fast .
So seems we will have to order new units ..

Just a question ??
Can original honda diagnostics clear the crash data if it it is not to severe on these???

Sorry my bad you are right, that is a renesas module with no external eeprom. No the original honda scan tool cannot clear crash even if its not severe, i have hds 3g with the newest updates and even had a honda with E codes instead of F which is pre crash meaning it didn't deploy anything and it couldn't clear it, module had to come out. As for your module probably best bet if you have ETL is to email them and then can probably get you the file really quickly, they did for me for one car.

Then i will have to order programmer from Ukraine the .
The online soft i have is a pain in the ass with their foocked up support ..
I can do better in 24 hours time with decompiling the files and clear the crash if i can see the data ...

seems you over cleared into seat sensor like most clear files on honda gets done .

I do it with ETL hyperprog programmer wich loads new virgin file, Im far from you but if want send module to reset.

Hmmm seems Carprotool have got new software released H8SX to read/ write and clear by UART..... with their CPT programmer ....

My cg100 can do it on board , instead on obd. they just have to fix their server so i can update it.

cleared file worked good on two units .. i tested..
