Hi all

i'm trying to read the 93c46 eprom with carprog but i got a flie with FF 00 Reading with the soic clip A6 cable.
i check the pinout of the cable and is not according with the carprog pinout on the image.
it's a chinese clone so i don't know if it's correct. they swap pin 6 and 7 .
i change the pins in the cable 6 to the 7 but the result is the same.

Scrap the thing to the bin, its good for reading psg/vauxhall ecu pins lol, no seriously buy a cheap programmer and read it via adpater, even a cheap Skypro programmer good enough for the job, im presuming p38 is 2.5 td? dont forget the white with red tracer wires on becm , join them together to get it to crank

yes, it's a 2.5 dt.

next to yellow caps, theres two 93c on board heres pdf, and dont worry about the bmw 725 lol, it same
two solutions, one manual and auto, i only put pdf of layout on post
Also for it to crank you will need to join two wires on the becm together there both white with red tracers and ones in the left plug of the becm nearest the drivers door and the other is in the furthers plug at the front of becm, just piece a wire to them and it will crank

Hi flyins.
I bought the skypro as you suggested.
I read the 93c and I'll change the addr 0b of the file.
I did the download of some files from Dk with immo of but they are different from mine.
Do you think it's better change the ori file or i can use one from DK ?
my file is different from the downloaded files.
It seems that the Swap option was used in edit mode in skypro sofware.
If i use the swap option in edit mode in the original file the values are near to the Dk downloaded files.
is this important ? When should we use the SWAP option in the SkyPro software in edit mode ?

Regards.
