clean the board with tinner and re solder all of the display leads u can get the clear display

speed limit normaly is provide by the gear.for cheat the limmiter you have to make the dash to see you are in 5-th gear like on hayabusa.
are you sure the limit is just in the dash screen? maybe motorcycle real speed is more than 300.

than is not necesary to see speed on dash .i never do that on circuit,a lot of people who racing put powertape on dash speed :))

AEM he is asking about the boarders c there in the pic in 299 and 999 there is a border he is asking to remove it must be a dry soldering in the display so re solder it it will be perfect
