hi all,

I have Discovery TD5 2003. Car was running perfect till today.
Remote control can't open/close any doors.
I can open a car with a key but then when open the door alarm is getting active -horn and flash light as well.
Only one solution to stop it is turn key in door lock.
When try to turn ignition is happened too same (horn and lights) needs to remove the key and turn in driver lock then stop.
car is not starting, all fuses are ok.
unit on the roof is dry- no water damaged.

Any idea?

if remote don't work to unlock do door immo stays active

That's what I know so far. I wonder if door latch can make it so confused?

Do you have EKA code for the vehicle if so try input code using drivers door lock..

No I do not have. Any chance to get that code from ecu/bcm/key or etc?

Check remote receiver under headlining normally they go faulty with condensation its behind rear sunroof.
Around ?55 to replace.

What is that sticker on key inside?

You have 3 options. First get eka code from dealer and disable immo from door lock.
Second change remote module. Third immo of and short to starter
do search in dk and you will find all the info you need

Fixed- i checked remote receiver under headlining- resolder all pcb and is working now.

@totalkey- do you think that immo off (93c66 change and cutting pin 34 is working on that model?)
there is no alarm box under the dash. alarm is integrated with bcm
