take the 00 00 08 CF and xor from F FF FF, seems to line up with his mileage, if i didn't know any better you already tried to set the file using the etsmart script pack that is floating around (and failed to tell us as such) and as it didn't do the checksum it fell over,

if you have the actual original file, post it and I'll try to crack it for you, but i cannot fix it in this state.
