fgtech v54 runtime error

Can someone please help me with this chinese fgtech v54.
It worked ok for a few weeks but now I am getting a visual c++
runtime error abnormal program termination.I have installed the software
on a few other laptops running xp but the problem is the same.
The driver installs ok.

wrong usb driver?

No, upload FTDI dump again to fgtech. You corrupted it disconnecting the unit without properly closing the software before with the ESC button.
