Does it require a programmed key to work

I emailed and they say it needs working key for pincode.

From what I gather it decodes comms beween bsi and ecu to get the pincode - if this works it will be far better than avdi smok etc for spare keys as it wont need service mode and have no risk of damaging the flash of the bsi

the price is too cheap if it does work it should be at least 10x higher

Hi

If you look at the videos is getting pin from a ecu on the desk, so no bsi to read the pin from.

Best regards

No, the device has two main functions one is pin code calculation via obd.. the manual says it intercepts the signal from bsi to ecu, this was confirmed by email and they said pin code from obd needs working key.

Another function is the emulator programming this allows you to enter the pincode into the emu to run the car without key, the video that shows connected to the ecu is the ecu decode the manual says this can take hours.
