Launch X431 change the serial number in the Smartbox

Hello dear friend.if anyone has a solution to change the serial number of smart boss who is the older generation V2.2. 2003 year.

Does anyone have a solution for the complete opening smartbox then can use any software without checking the serial number.

I'm experimentally read content from W77LE58F25 but we could not find a record of the serial number to get it changed.

If anyone has a solution please help me!

the only solution, programme your winbond with flash.
not sure you can read the older X431, but the newer winbond cannot be
read(read protected). Also must be programme with mcu off.
I still got the flash but it's store somewhere in the hdd. got to find it if you need it.
Even if you be able to change it, what you want to do? You cannot use the newer
soft because Launch has make the newer soft not compatible with the old hw.
Ok you might be able to use the soft just a bit newer than your version but still you need super-16
adapter for some vehicles.
If you look @ it, my opinion, not worth the time.
there is no cheaper solution for you if you think by changing the sn# you can use the newer
soft.
my suggestion buy a diagun11(obsolete) under usd$400 on-line or
master smartbox...almost the cost of the super-16.
master smartbox can supersede your old smartbox.
Can use the newer soft & load faster than the old Launch which
takes forever to load.
This are just my opinions & suggestions.
I respect your idea of what you want to do.
if it.,s better i like to know about it, maybe i can use your idea.
