I have had a customer call me stating that he has a dash warning light of a padlock with a red line through,after i programmed a new key.

The battery in the new key should be ok.
I may have while testing the new remote,opened doors with new remote and started engine with old key,not sure if this is the cause.
Will it go off on its own ,whats the cause ,any advice would be appreciated.
Both keys work ok .
