Peugeot Partner Light problem

I have a strange problem!!!!! I did mileage on 64 plate Partner today and after reinstalling everything I noticed that the Rear offside brake light had stayed on. I though I may have corrupted the data so I reprogrammed original and still the same. I did the whole job again from scratch and thought it was solved. Everything was working as it should. 15 minutes later (I was doing another job for the same customer) I saw the light come back on. The ignition was off.

Can anyone throw some light on this please.

could simply be a system that is powered through the dash, try a 15 minute battery reset, and may come good,

or to be extra cautious, take it for a short trip around the block to make it write back the new milage, then battery reset

Do a BSI reset, bat lead off then on for 5 min,then reach in drivers window and switch headlights on. Remove key from the ignition.

customer rang me today. Light went out on it's own after a short drive. F*** knows what that was all about.
