PCR2.1 problem after programming

Hi there

Have this Ecu. I unlocked it, read and wrote it. Car doesn't start. I have done many of these cars but never had a problem. This is the fault code I am receiving.

Can someone please help me out here

Using galletto v54 euro

if u have soldred the boot pins check the solder & clear it well if u have used needles for boot pin it mean the fgtech kill ur ecu

did you try to upload ori by obd?just in case your ecu was not unlock and you upload tune file.

do not unlock again!!if you not sure if ecu is unlock,write ori back by obd if car starts ecu was not unlocked.then try to unlock again.

if car starts and you want to continue the job i would get eep buck up just in case some thing is wrong with toll,and unlock by eep dump.

Okay mate. Car started fine with original file. Is it a checksum issue. Or does it need to be unlocked again?

Just read post 10 from gttuning read epp by programmer and unlock manualy and post files here maybe mod file is the problem maybe not unlocked without files we can not know nothing

Seems need to be unlocked again (or bad file tuning).
Fgtech normally good checksum calculate.

Ecu not unlocked... or unlocked 2x+ ... problem 100% is here.. use kess ... kess id write unlock or lock ecu...write orig, if car start no unlock....

Writting on car or bench?

Bench. The car started when I wrote the original file on bench. Its the same thing really. 12v gnd can high can lo

Write it on car. I now it works but happened to me once. I did lot on bench but one time this happened. Your egr off sucks btw :)

No. i don't think it's file fault. Try it on car sounds silly but give it a go.

i dont want to be smart but you looking for trouble the way you do this,if you have no eep. no post here, put this ecu back to car and start,if starts change one bit in your ori file in some map for example in boost map and write this file to your ecu,if car dont star ecu is locked.

He claims that after he wrote ori car started. So again strange things happens. I had same situation once ecu send to me / did the mode send ecu back / get the call from dealer car won't start. Again just tried to avoid towing car to me wrote ori sent ecu back / car started. Car drove to my place wrote mod file / all OK. PCR don't have issues on bench but have voltage needs as we now couse it pulls pretty much on closedown. It happened only once on VW Polo 2010.
First thing first he should get proper egr off file !

@smt is a top bloke. It weren't a problem with anything I did on my behalf. It was the mod file I was given for it. smt solved my problem perfectly well. It's surprising what a bad mod file can cause the Ecu to do. Once again smt is a top man and I recommend his files and support to anyone. Thanks (Y)

Or even be more professional, and using original tools.
Original CMD_FGtech_x17, say whether the ecu is locked or unlocked with just the ecu id.
