I bought the 1K0920874B Dashboard from ebay as upgrade to HIGHLINE of MID-LINE 1K0920862K Dashboard in my 2006 JETTA TDI. I managed to get the PIN of my existing 1K0920862K Dashboard as well as IMMO PIN, but unable to do anything with new Dashboard.

In case of CDC3272 do not read Micronas. Select and read only 24C32.

For Micronas CDC3217 & CDC3297 for flash reading use XProgM (24c32 and flash)

OK, so without FLASH there is no way of reading the Dashboard PIN from the dump I uploaded earlier?

I am a bit confused now. I already uploaded my eeprom 24lc32 dump. Do I still need to read the new Dash with xprog-m as vlado kljucar described above?

To get Pin you have to read Flash + eeprom, Eeprom is encrypted and it can be decrypt only with Flash.
But with just Pin you will not be able to do anything.

Sure. The point is to get the PIN and add the dashboard using vcds. If that is what you had in mind...

No,Not possible, you can not do that. VCDS does not support adaptation on this cluster .

Need help with instrument cluster swap as written previously.
Old Cluster - 1K0920862K - I have its PIN
New Cluster - 1K0920874B - I have its PIN
The problem is when I install the new cluster I cannot perform adaptation with VCDS as per Ross-Tech instruction - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Immobilizer_IV_Immobilizer_Swapping_(Instrument_Cl uster
- When I do 25 - Immobilizer -> Security Access - 16 -> use the PIN of the NEW instrument cluster -> Code Accepted
- Adaptation - 10 -> Enter 050 in "Channel Number" -> Read -> Error! cannot read because of communication error!
Waited with new cluster installed more than an hour, unfortunately no change...
Any help would be gratly appreciated

AVDI, Smok Xcan, even manually with xprogM
