Hi. I have two bmw ms42 engine ecus. one is from 320 antoher is from 328.
320i bmw engine ecu: 5wk9037 index 04, bmw part no: 7 500 255
328 bmw engine ecu: 5wk9031 index 01, bmw part no: 1 430 268
can somebody take immo information from 320 flash file and transfer it into 328? what does it needs to be transferred? isn and vin? or something else? Thing is, why I am doing it, is because engine is swapped, and now its 328 , so would like to use same ews system from car, because i have only ecu from 328 bmw. attaching flash files from both ecus. maybe it's possible to do something, so it could be plug and go.
