e class key lost

Hi guys i think i will have a job in merc 2004 e class ,lost key.
just need info how to start this job,
do i need new key?or there is some other way to add second hand key,never done one so any info would be grate.

New key or secondhand, if you get a secondhand key then you need a programmer that can erase and reprogram it. You will also need something that can red the ezs, rosfar, xprog, r270, etc. Then you need software that can convert the ezs data into a key file and write back into the key. I have like smok it can read ezs and i have AVDI i think can read key with it. So plan is read ezs and upload key data to second hand key?
