wondering what would happen if i installed a linux image for a dreambox on another linux recievr?

if its not compatible it simply wont go onto the box

probably not....just like its impossible to get a dreambox 7025 image onto a 500

what image are you trying to get onto what, and what are you hoping to achieve?
