You need interface of course. In picture is the martech adaptor DB25 not direct LTP port. This adaptor conect to the martech box.And martech read this m32c.
Also i tried with rs232 interface but not conect to this M32c, only conect to RCD500 m32c flash.Maybe somebody has a solution.
Also have solution to loked the counter but in this way takes more time to find code.

There is no extra hardware required. The only thing you need is a serial cable between pc and microcontroller...

Yes !You are right but it can read only M30833 from rcd500 panasonic. For rcd210 you must read M30879 which can not support this flasher.

You have it on picture all

CNVSS to Vcc is important

It can read only M30833 but not M30879, as attilaa0 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/member.php/76791-attilaa0) said

I have same error ,MCU is Renesas M30879

i have same error, with RCD210 MCU M32M30879 , the mcu is protected

The microcontroller is protected by a 7 byte ID. Without the correct ID, it is not possible to read,
write or erase the flash memory.

The NON-PROFIT version of the M16C-Flasher only writes the ID 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
0x00 0x00, so there is no protection.

You have also the option to log all used IDs into a file (ID.LOG)

By default the M16C-Flasher uses the last working ID. This is useful under most conditions.
But if you are working at different devices with different IDs, you should select 'Extract ID from
File
