Having a real problem talking to a 2008 Citroen C3.

Can anyone tell me if there are pins missing in this picture please.

One pin missing on the bottom row, only 3 pins in the top.

I have a 2003 and they are completely different.

plug downside up so looks like pins 1-3-4-5-6-7-8
12- 14 -16
16 = 12v \ 4-5 = ground \ 6-14 = can hi & can lo \ 7 = iso \ 1-3- 8 ??? \ 2-10 reserved for ford & gm anyway
can & iso should be enough for all essential communication

Before changing anything: what kind of diag testers did you try? Did you try to make comms with more than one control unit? Try the ECU for example, if there's something wrong with the CAN line you should probably be able to communicate with the ECU via K-line.

Tried a Bosch, that worked fine. Tried two different launch X431 and neither would work.

I eventually got it going by telling the Launch it was a c2. Everything worked once I did that. ABS sensor knackered, ebay to the rescue. Should be sorted Monday or Tuesday.

Cheers for the input.
