Hello again, today i open a new thread because a colegue of mine has a problem with an cluster for FORD connect 2007, i atached a photo with part number. It seems thate when he was trying to solder cables on MCU , he did a mistake, soledring in weong place, unit in tension, and cluster is dead. For what i know the only solution is to change the cluster , same part number. But begins other problems, how to adapt to the car for starting? What tool do we need for adaptation, i have focom, i don't know if is useful. Waiting for any advice from you, i repeat i'm trying to help a colegue . Thanks in advance to all.

Helping a colleague is definitely very respectful. But if its a colleague isn't you guys doing the almost the same work.
Why not get him to sign up as DK member & get him to ask for help here.. It's not hard to tell your colleague "sorry"
& the best help you can give to your colleague is help him sign up in DK, after all, you already a member.

Ford IDS will let you code a second hand IC if you have it and can get out code / in codes calculated but wont let you change the mileage unfortunately

Or try find a bin file on DK put it on eeprom and try with original IC

You are right my friend, but the colegues client don't have to many patience. Y already told him to make himself an account on DK forum, it's his decision if he want's or not. I think he saved the dump, but he has the same problem like i have, an digiprog 3 with missing FTDI chip, so could not connect to computer.
Any way thanks for your help.
