well, for starters, after reading the eeprom, and opening it up in a hex editor, where should I be looking, what should I be deleting or adding? The only method I know of currently is to reflash the eeprom with a data from a good one which is often a challange, as I sometime do not have the data. I am told that for many modules, you can simply remove the crash data with a hex editor. Can any members here provide me with some input?

As an example, I have attached a bad file for a 2007 Honda Civic SRS module
thanks
