Citroen Picasso 1.6HDI 110cv

Hi, i have a Citroen Picasso 1.6HDI 110hp with EDC16C34 without immo memory.
I tried to put a ST95160 memory with immo off, the car now start but the bsi is on economy mode, and appear a DTC in ecu of comunication CAN.


Need virgin the ecu for work correctly ?? or also exists a problem with the BSI.

In BSI not appear DTC's

I have only the dump from the new ecu.

In the bsi with lexia i have a faultcode of comunication with ecu.

The engine start ok with immo off.

Do you think that i need recode with a virgin file?

try to check if ABS is ok, because comunication is like this: Ecu -> ABS -> BSI

In bsi not appear dtcs related with comunication of abs. Use can bus for diag of abs or exists a kline?

the comunication is CAN, check dtcs in ABS

In abs exist a dtc of comunication with bsi. 😢

The bus is broken? The bsi? The ecu? The abs?

Any idea?

try clean plug of ABS. or get other abs to test, only need electronic part, dont need to unplug tubes of oil


i tell this because i already have same problem



so, the problem could be ABS or BSI, or comunication, need to change them one by one to test


ps: if you change BSI first put KM to 0 because will change in dash

You know if ABS Unit is end of bus ??

If unplug the ABS the engine not start? But because the can-bus is open or because the ABS is end of node?
Could be possible bypass the ABS for try to comunicate the BSI with engine... ??

if unplug the ABS car will not start with immo, for that you need to conect the can wires

At the end, the problem was in BSI.....

A question, with this ecu, the fan is active (2? speed) all time and i can not switch on the A/C (checked and all is correct)

This problem is related with the immo off ???

I dont have DTCs in ECU
