DM500 problem Ether to HUB or PC (Cable Cross)

I problem not connection dreambox ethernet to HUB and PC but connect to Swicth no problem.Please myfriend help me recheck and repair unit.j-tag is can use repair ethernet network problem ?.

If you are connecting the dreambox to a router, make sure you put the router ip address in the 'default gateway' section of the network setup page.

what if usung a modem i have dreambox 500c connected via modem will this work
