BMW E65 ME9.1 ECU

Hi All
I need info where is ISN located in flash or eeprom,i think in flash on 0xFE140 to 0xFE145 but....not 100%,and if is in flash with bdm100 or galleto54 i cant write in this area what is solution to write on programmer or maybe exsist beter way to do that

hi, ISN is 1C D2 at adress that u said , check picture ,
i dont what u need but if it's for swap and ecu u cant use on a other ecu (rolling code not same).

If this is replacement ECU read MPC and write to new ECU ther desolder flash from old and solder to new ECU - this flash area is not writeable and contains ISN and UIF ! i try with almost every programmer . If this is your old ECU and something go wrong with sinchro between CAS and ECU better write ECU ISN in CAS and do CAS - DME adaptation again ! I have this problem with original ECU in one car in my garage after battery drain and nothing even this will solve my problem .

I just did one today.i used bmw explorer to read the isn from used dme,then on cas1 change the isn number with r270.i could not change the isn in cas thru obd .then change the short vin thru obd, car starts without any problem no codes. it was 06 745l.

Hi guys , cklair thanks for u answer but for me I try it on 2 cas3+ and 1 cas2 not work with BMW explorer at end I use isn of use ecu and start car without problem (always work for me) , so For start his car quickly it's simple ,but in first I don't know if others used ecu that I want put on car is it new or used from scrapyard ? If used read his flash and post here with EEPROM cas for check , too what tool he have for make synch/ecu/cas ? If new ecu post ecu number.
