Peugeot Citroen ECU + BSI synch

Hi all, so I got this old-timer thread. To synch ECU with BSI on all PSA group only PIN code has to match? As far as I remember on all older cars it was so. The question is does BSI have any checksum? Or you can write PIN code matching with ECU and you're good to go?

As I did the last time 4 0 7 I had to ECU virgins and synchronization.
