Sprinter esl virgin

Is it possible to program a used esl on a sprinter 2008? I might of broken the nec chip on the original esl, I have another esl. If this is possible what programmer reads these chips? or is done another way.

Yes the original chip is broken. I was trying to trick the lock position sensors, which worked once then it wont work now.

I was using a small magnet but this may of corrupted the chip.
