what year is it as you may be able to find a replacement cheaper than to repair it but bear in mind the repaired unit will have a guarantee

I had exactly the same problem with my Octavia.

I found a Repair Manual on EBAY and it works!!!

There are 7 cold solder joints to fix.
Maybe it's already on EBAY. Look for Repair Manual Octavia or so.

Just use your own eyes to check the date, mine have gone square from too many drugs this weekend

a) Why is this thread so old!
b) Justy22, speedo head, milage

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::rofl mao:

c) Ok the other link is in Polish, but at least the milage won't need
'correcting' afterwards

Sorry, you will have to speak to Justy22 as he holds over 50 Differant WorldWide Patents for jumpleads that put milage on.

There would be a nasty legal case if we disscused things like that whilst Justy22 is a member.

BUT even if he left DK (hopefully not) when ever he goes into PremiarD 's
workshop at the back of the 'Allo 'Allo Cafe he will see it on PremiarD's computer screen (He seems to be on line 24/7)

Hello m8s
Since i'm on vacation i didnt have the chance to log in for the last 5 days.
I dont think that we have to talk much about who uploaded something first. Of course the credits must be given to the first poster but a solution is always a solution and is posted in order to help others.
I can say that it will be very helpfull if everyone of us that has simillar repair manuals upload them to a new thread.
In fact i will open a new tread for dash repair manuals.
