3 in 1 Nightvision HU92 Decoding trouble.....

Got a new Lishi the HU92 ( new to me anyway ), picked the first lock easily enough in under a minute etc, but my decode wasn't even close! i ended up pulling the door lock and reading the wafers :D What am i doing wrong? I'm being nice and gentle and working on the theory that if it pushes past one depth then it must be the next one? Any help? or should i just stick with it?

If it's the twin lifter decode same way past the spring till it stops or single lifter decode opposite to direction picked, if wafers are worn then twin lifter gives bad read, regards

ah right, mine is a single lifter......... that's where i'm going wrong then! i'm decoding in the same direction as picked!

I find twin lifter easier for picking, and single lifter for decoding - but I also find that if using single lifter for picking then it gets damaged very quickly compared to twin lifter and then decodes poor.

But when you've gained more experience then you will only need the 2 in 1 tool.

i only bought the 3 in 1 because 3d deliver next day........ will look at Honrow or Apollo for more Lishi's.
