I'm with you mate.
I like my X100, they updated it quite frequently at the start then stopped development for quite a while before bringing out the clone story.
Smells a bit fishy to me...

Just found out about the Xtool webpage a couple a minutes ago myself. And found the X-100. I thought I will give out the info. And here it was already.
The webpage is built up in the same way as www.obdstar.com (http://www.obdstar.com) Sure it is not the same company? Branding their products in two different places.
I guess it is necessary to pay the extra fee for the PRO. If we want the latest updates for the next 3 years. Not so much, considering free updates and no tokens.
Just hope they come up with the newest/latest vehicles on the market though. Not the early 2000 updates.

I am also trying to find the developer webpage for the CI Prog-300+ if someone have the link. Its highly appreciated.

I may be wrong but I think there is a clone and the cheap one being sold as x100 pro updated version is the clone which has the old x100 and x200 software in one, that is why they ask for a picture of the menu as well as the serial number page when getting the new tool.

I think you are right. This must be the one. Its the same company FlyOBD.com was so angry at. No updates on this one I guess.

Not sure what one mine is or isn't, but has already earned the cost of the unit back on it's first job. 2x Keys for a 2004 Alto. Took seconds. Happy with it. It's pulled vag pin codes on 2004 passat, bora, golf, octavia, leon and ibiza, has also coded vag remotes, have used it quite a lot......... do you think for ?99 I have been scammed?!?!............ :D ( i realise that many other tools will do this, but as my sbb was farked i thought i's give it a try )

Did a spare key on a vauxhall astra 2002 1.7 D, could not get comms with my AD100 gear , used x100 pro ,erased and programmed the new key in seconds!

Fresh updates for the X-100PRO Could anyone confirm that they are able to do the updates. I cant get the serial number pop up in the update software. And therefore not able to update anything.

Update is fine, i updated mine on friday, the way i do it i run the update soft, coonect the microsd/usb card, delete all, then i download all and unzip on the sd card, if you have done it correctly, then the update progress bar appears, and gets updated.

I tested it on a vehicle yesterday myself. No luck. I struggled to be able run any OBD tool on the vehicle including this. So I thought it was just the vehicle.
I will test it on some other vehicle soon.
