I present thee ZOMBIE-URCHIN, thusly termed because at 4pm this afternoon i pulled the bloody thing out the loch and gave its innards a good stirring with my pocketknife.
Its still alive... and its got my dog all messed up in the head, he keeps looking at me with the what do i do about this big jaggy thing on the table? look.

The mind boggles.

Is it always the same? I did some fishing way back. Fresh water fishing I could not catch anything yet everyone around was catching loads. I used to help on a boat out off Troon that took tourists out fishing for mackerel. I could not fail at catching mackerel. If you dropped a line over the side it usually came back in with two or three mackerel. I better stop I am starting to get the lure of the sea again.lol
