my kryptview box gettin scrambled no video on all channels tried new firmware but still nothing also when doing channel searchred button for all networks not working im on telewest virgin any ideas?should add got red botton to work eventualy found 89 channels but when scan complete scrambled or no video on all channels even terestial channels tried three times now still nothing cheers

which kryptview is it A700 or A750? what firmware did you install? and does this update show up in system info.

box is a700 tried new 12072009 Firmware now gone back to one before that think it is 19032009 will check system info whats best way to check system info box has been working fine until a couple of days ago wondered if box is faulty. ok system info shows correct firmware this is wierd after i checked system info channels now back dont know how long for they came back yesterday for a while then went again.

ahh it seems to be a common problem this week that quite a few people have had no channels or more channel than before maybe vm messing about with frequencys or signal levels??? at least you working at the moment anyway

thx for your input maybe it is virgin but my son has same set up as me in same area and has no probs. channels gone again anybody know whats going on tried virgin box that works ok so not cable fault

still no channels came back for a while now scrambled no video again is my box faulty or is it something else sons box still working ok had no probs.

try your box at your sons and viceversa you will tell if it box or cable feed related

Signal strength can vary door to door, as I recently found out.
I was having similar problems to this, called out VM to check signal strength on my B/B. He confirmed that the signal was low.
He went to the green service box upped the signal and all my problems went.
