Reading eeprom EDC15P+

Hello

I cant read the EEprom on EDC15P+ ecus.I tried on two ECUs.Im using the k+can commander Sw.I can get ECU ID but i cant read the EEprom.Any idea ?

i used it to read cluster eeprom. but ecu eeprom i dont remember if it ever worked!

The k+can comander should read it but......

The eeprom is 24c04 and prob you won't be able to read it "on-board". Just desolder and read it, you have to learn it anyway if you're serious about it. What do you want to do once you got it read?

I want to clone my ecu and remap it.i want to have a spare ecu just in case

use commander on the spare ecu and immo of it! there s a immo off button. better to have a spare ecu with no immo...jsut in case!

Yes but i cant do that without reading the eeprom

VAG K+CAN 3.6 can read that ecu ,, tested,

read with a programmer ..it s safer...
i can do immo off after if u need it

just just any universal programmer to read that eeprom, no need to use VAG K+CAN
