Do clones work?

Hi,

Will a DM800C work ok with the available images/cams etc?

Just I was thinking of buying one for ?200 does that sound good?

think you have to use a lot of the old images but it will work and open chans with the right files, I don't really like the clones because of this but if it don't bother you then go for it or you might be better trying to save a bit more and get a real one or even wait a couple of months and see if the dm500 hd suits you or you could always look at a different linxu hd receiver as there is a couple of different ones out there

Until the Chinese come up with a way of circumventing the boot loader problem whereby the images created after August do not work I think it a waste time buying a clone dm800. I have a clone and original dm600 and they both work perfectly with the latest images but when it comes to the dm800 I think I will give the clones a miss as I like try the latest images.
