hi guys, my front wheel bearing needs replacing on my peugeot 307 1.4 2003, does anyone know wot is the approx cost? also is it always better to get both bearings done at same time just so u know there done..

no just do the noisy one,spinning wheel when car is off the ground you will feel the noise,cant say what the price is imagine around 150e

The front bearings come as complete hub on these so quite easy to fit but can be awkward to remove if inner bearing separates from hub, just replace the noisy one often they have little or no wear they just dry out of prepacked grease. If it helps as a guide I would charge ?110 to supply & fit one bearing hub

Prob. you get away with only 1 bearing. Lift the wheel off the ground, put one hand on the coil spring and spin the wheel over. A bad bearing will make you sense vibrations from the spring. .

hi guys, yeh it was wheel bearing took it to garage he replaced the bearing cost ?100, car sounds and feels alot better now..

For a 2003 I would have gone to scrappy and got the hub around ?30, piece of cake fitting them…

why go to scrappy? Fools errand, chances are you will get another noisy bearing. Most garages will not fit used parts like this. personaly i wouldnt, my rep is worth more.
