Looks nice! I hope for CAS4 since you are already there on OBD. OPEL, FIAT new Toyota H's and off course Volvo. Maybe new ECU's as well in JTAG BDM mode. EDc17x, MED17x, SIMOS 10 , 12 and 18 and PCR 2.1. I guess I am only dreaming for the moment. But it can be true some day!:)

So this tool includes a full vvdi, a programmer, and something like multitool bmw.
I prefer separete tools myself, in case of failure, damage, or guarantees.
But if they keep updating like they have been doing. Then it is a pretty fair price.
Hopefully someone will testdrive this, and maybe there will be a English manual avalable soon.

Will prefer to buy an orange 5 with immo soft ,hope they will add more options ,like bcm2 ,nec and micronas ,gearbox ecu ,etc....
Also it will not display isn ,just read the ecu eprom or flash from BMW ecu. :)

Cheapest xprog or upa will do it total for both is 184 $ and you will have more option why pay 429$ for a tool that will not even do the half job of upa and xprog? orange5 is good tool specialy if you have immo soft .
For reading bmw ecu can use galleto or kess .
Will not buy this tool for the moment ,coverage is still TOO POOR.!!! :(

I have ORANGE 5 fully , with 3-O5 Immo.cfg and work perfect 100% useful, and have a lot programmer and scanner clone.
It would be helpful for all us to share our experiences with this programmer.

I know VVDI company over 3 years .
Like all companys - some time have good day , some time not.
Dont forget they are in China, not like AVDI who have much better access to Europen cars / controlers.
Even VAG units are different theres

They doing very well job.
The good think is that they doing devices, not clone from current one.

Today if you want to be on the market - you need relist unit quick, no time to lot of test / compatibilities

When you try to reset sec says Chip is Crypt FF Operation Failed. Any ideas ??

mate,get ID 0000 or FFFF means haven't communication with the chip.please check the connection of chip.
and if you have other Motorola chip,please try to check whether can read.

The renault megane has uses as the same processor 9S12DG256 and other cars, but I read all 9S12DG256 processors with my pinouts....

Yes,maybe this type can use XIRQ as the VSSX2,get the chips data.but the standard power supply pin is the VSSX2 of processor 9S12DG256.

VFDI did not read flash EEP or by OBD2
In the end I managed to add key directly from CAS2 connector with cables DB29 of FVDI.de this way all Ok.

indicated that this CAS2 or there is a problem or I had something exceptional with this, clarification would not be a bad error.

Select the proper Brand & Chip in type<4-IMMOBILIZER>,usually preferred option is 5M48H BACKUP to read data,refer to the connection diagram,ensure all connection ok.
later will add the connection diagram in type<2-MCU>-<MOTOROLA>-<MC9S12XEP100>,but in type MCU need to unlock first then read/write.

That's a BIG MISTAKE my friend !!!Many e70 from 2010 with cas3+ have real isn inside EGS.
Xhorses engineers made a great job with VVDI for VAG car but for BMW you still have some faillure someones more important than others ,do not mi-understood me multitool good tool for BMW .

Key4man ,what kind of diagram connection you are using ? because there is 4 kind of diagram.
And i think the first one is wrong cause if you look at the masl its 1l15y and not 5m48h .
Also did you cutted the 2 wires?
I see many videos of this tool and it seam to be ok for cas ,but it's on videos ...... :)

This is what appears in the software for the cas4 , for me, personally I could not read it.

Security Byte Address: 0xFFF0F
Unsecured State: 0xFE(xxxx xx10)
Please use "CAS4-5M48H-BACKUP" option backup the D-FLASH and P-FLASH data first!
Steps:
1.Use "Reset Sec"unlock chip, the original security byte displayed in the window below
2.Read or write D-FLASH and P-FLASH data, the command can be executed many times
3.Use "Set Sec", input the security byte read from step 1

Eclk is probably extal. Gnd-c is ground. Check xprog to compare pin numbers.

such as CAS4-5M48H,VVDI PROG can get eeprom(also include mileage)but need to upload to VVDI2,then will show you the mileage.

the in circuit seems to be poor, but also a lot of remotes have the data/clk lines tied to +v etc so would not work anyway unless you cut tracks etc.

Also with the renew file for the remote it is pointless, as unprotect will erased the contents.
