Hi mates. I have C4 1.6hdi, which has strange electrical problems.
First, when is wet whether windscreen wiper working by itself, not driven.. Also engine can stop after driving. Schematics shows that both engine powering and wipers are energised by BSM. But question is what first I should check, this module is flooded gum or silicone. Should I open it and scratch gum and mesure diodes and check pcb? When is sunny day problem not exist..
Second thing is lights, mirrors and power windows... All signals from driver side door switch or steering wheel switch are recognozed by BSI (checked by DiagBox) but only driver window working. Mirror are driven only driver side, passenger not. Rear left fog lamp is damaged - is one of few faults, but in car is only one rear fog lamp (right) - wrong codding??
Some electrician opened BSI before, I found missing (I think) smd component, but I'm not sure.. Solder looks like something was placed there (see pictures). Maybe someone has such BSI opened and could see if there are empty place, or not? Will be greatfull.
