2013 Audi A6 showing ---- instead of mileage

Customer called saying someone tried to correct mileage on above car using digiprog 3 clone. He clipped eeprom and selected option but it returned back with unknown version, they have then put original dump back onto the eeprom connected to car but display shows ---- instead of mileage. Everything else seems to be fine like pointers for fuel temp etc. Will I be able to reviver mileage on this using a better tool like smelecom.

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue thanks

try an instrument diag with vdcs , might show communication error

iv had two in the last xxx months both had been sent tits up via assfixer pro , all i did was start the job totally from scratch and they both come back with the 0 mileage when cluster was put back in then went onto desrired distance when done by obd

did you do the job with smelecom or with digiprog3 clon?

There's only 4.94 update I asked Thomas Ritter direct in Germany. The UK digiprog are no longer dealers for digiprog and the 4.85 posted is fake
