Ditch the Fgtech, Get a capable tool, K Tag,
I always thought Fgtech great, But Boot mode, Flaky to say the best,
Ok tool Obd,
But K Tag, excellent,

is not necessary any link on pcb, simple use this connections (you can check continuity of can H and can L with tester)

CAN L = pin 25
CAN H = pin 24

for Fiat jumpers are not needed, only for the Jeep. Loock direct connection from TC1797 TPROT Fiat.

For JEEP I can see one of the +12V , CAN high and CAN low pins are different compared to FIAT picture.
OK seems like I`m going to have to go with the KTAG instructions. We`ll see.550650

edc17c49 (FCA-jeep etc) can H and can L are always 24 and 25, you can test continuity from ecu plug to obd plug (pin 25 to pin 14 obd and pin 24 to pin 6 obd)

tested

Is it possible to clone a fiat edc17c49 with a backup, without modification ( same HW) ? or are there OTP areas or passwords to transfer 1st before writing ?

Tried via bench protocol with auto tuner but tool did not accept backup file. Autotuner wont advise on cloning . So... how exactly to clone a C49 with autotuner ? i have only bench ( not boot ) read ( of all memories D-flash 1 & 2 & I-flash 1 & 2) from donor ECU.
