Hi, maybe somebody can help, I had one vivaro, with broken dashboard, it have johnsons control dash, with fuel, and temp gauge in lcd display. Story: car came with dead fuel gauge, so I swap another same looking , just different eeprom dashboard, to test does it works, so fuel gauge was ok, just gear shifting on display didnt show on another dash, so I put back original, and gear shifting gone on original dash too. So, the problem, the dash doesnt show automatic gearbox , gears on dash, I checked wiring diagrams, it dash communnicate by can, there is no extra wiring, what can cause this typo of dissapear, missing coding of dash, does it can be activated in eeprom? even connected dash on table doesnt show active display about gears. I have Autocom, and opcom, what did not help with dash diagnostics at all for this car. Maybe someone can give some Ideas how to fix it.
