i sorted it in the end lol i didnt have the tuner configeration set to 28.5e
in these settings youve got 28.2 and 28.5 in the xml

Having problems with Bis package on 19 east & 5 west

For some strange reason dreamset thinks they are the bloody same sat

Ive updated the Enigma 2 settings file

Most larger packages are broken down into sub sections of the following, sports, news & documentaries, Kids, Movies, Entertainment, music & religious, HD versions, etc.

Ive updated most of the arabic channels & packages for middle east users & many of the eastern european packages.
Also added the Teuve package @ 24.5 west & many more extras...

Ive also removed the 53 West channels as they were in C band

If anything is missing please let me know

Use Dreamset to load & select Enigma 2 Version 4. login= root, password =dreambox

On box to enable settings to be seen & accessed

Menu, Set up, system, customize,
'Enable multiple bouquets -yes
'Alternative radio mode -yes
Ok to save

Then hit 'OK' button on remote & blue button, followed by up/down & p/pg & ok keys to access & view sections/channels

The reason for posting above is im getting loads of folk asking how to get it to work

Dreambox 500 runs on enigma 1 as far as i know -unless they can be converted using Dreamset program

Both Dreambox edit & Dreamset should work with Dream 800 as these are programs designed for DMM machines

many thanks catseye for all your hard work... i know how long it takes as i did a full e1 list.
i have updated your list to my new dm800 and looks good i cannot get itv hd to work as it is greyed out in the list as are a few other channles in there.
e2 boxes are completly new to me so if you have any ideas what the problem may be with the itv hd it would be great to hear them.
prior to sending your list over i had changed the lambdb file to include the correct info but would think your file over writes this?
i am off to have a look into my problem.

In your sat config settings make sure you have Eurobird 28.5 set as the same as Astra 28.2 otherwise some of the channels will be greyed out m8

I am new to the E2 image been using NLB.

When I upload using Dreamset, it uploads ok and reboots box ok, but I dont get anything in favourites. :hmmmm2:

I just get the huge list of channels under All which is a pain to use.

Hi,
loading these on my DM800 and they seem to work well. One question though. For some reason ''S** Sports 1" in the S** Sports SD bouquet shows as only "SP1" and does not seem to pick up any EPG data.... just wondered if this was a mistake or some sort of issue on my DM800?

As I'm not sure how the EPG and satellite data is stored i'm reluctant to wade in with my size 9's...!

Try reloading settings with Dreambox Edit program instead of Dreamset

I find Dreamset can sometimes play up

Also reboot box if its doesnt automatically do so

nice one catseye, will try the new enigma settings, just got my father-in-law's 8000hd dropped off because he's getting nothing on ITV Partner on 16e - any idea if there's any impact on softcams? He's been playing around with them :-#

There have been major problems with the 16 East satellite

Some of the packages are working & some have been temporary relocated to 10 East

If you scroll through the listings it should show up as 16 East Changes

I doubt it would affect softcams maybe they need updating m8

thanks mate, will zap a new image, he's running gemini at the moment - it's getting decent signal on ITV partner but nada on picture, reckon you're right on the softcam, think he had SCAM3 working but not anymore, will get new keys. I heard that 3 sats had been moved or used to provide cover, didn't know about 10 East [thumbsup]

Not sure what the issue is as it looks ok in DreamboxEdit.

Thought it was worth a mention anyhow.. I'm not an XML expert I'm afraid so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Sometimes it can come up as n/a when it should be a legit channel
Try rebooting box after sending latest settings to it
Ive just checked KOS site & pids etc are still the same on Sky Arts 1 HD

I'm not able to get this to work.
Running e2 from usb on a 9000HD?
I have read "Tutorial for adding Sat.xml and services on Enigma2, IPbox9000" and the transfer is OK.
I also enabled the bouquettes in settings inside E2.

Now it works, I put the bouquett files in /etc/enigma2.

Guys, i presume you mean the music channels on Astra 28.2 east

Ive checked these tonight & they are all working fine
Ive even fixed the audio problems on them
They are scrambled & can only be watched via a sub or other means
They are not free to air like 4 music

You will be pleased to know the bug affecting the music channels on 28.2 East has now been fixed

Also the audio is set to english again so you dont have to mess with it

"6027" has now been relabelled as 'Sky Living'.

'Sky Living' has now changed transponders, moving from 11.739 V to 12.188 H.


"6029" has now been relabelled as 'Sky Living+1'.

you need to download a Programme called DreamSet, look for version 2.2.4

open that and set up your box IP address and the folders where to transfer files. like in picture below..

Umm,
looks as though they've moved them around since this update as I've got no BBC1HD or BBCHD anymore amongst others... god only knows why they shift transponders so often... it's the one thing that makes hobbysat a pain.

oh well, thank goodness the pro's outweigh the cons!
